WPRM · Water-process module

Water Polishing & Reuse Module

Builds a receiver-specific water polishing and reuse train from one or more transportable process cells, with explicit product-water and residual ownership.

HOLD / NO-GO until G1Project engineering required

Module function

What it does—and what it does not do.

The functional boundary is explicit so a module is never treated as a universal process claim.

DOES

Defined module functions

  • Accepts one named aqueous feed.
  • Applies case-selected equalisation, guard, barrier and polishing functions.
  • Conditions or disinfects where the authorised receiver requires it.
  • Holds candidate product water until receiver and quality evidence support release.
DOES NOT

Explicit exclusions

  • No universal barrier train.
  • Candidate product water is not automatically potable.
  • P0 remains HOLD / NO-GO until the project passes its next engineering gate.

How the module works

The WPRM mechanism, step by step.

Each step names both the physical function and the evidence required before the next handover.

01Accept one feed

P0 feed and receiver basis accepted.

02Equalise / guard

Feed state and available capacity verified.

03Apply barriers

Barrier state and route valid.

04Polish / condition

Selected treatment state completed.

05Verify release

Quality, route and receiver evidence recorded.

Stream schedule

Every inlet, product and residual has an owner.

A stream is not released merely because the equipment can move it. Its state, route and receiving boundary must be accepted.

Published datasheet

What is fixed, selectable and project-specific.

Unsupported values are never guessed. The table states either the current public definition or exactly how the value is established.

Interface schedule

What crosses the module boundary.

Process, utility, residual and control handovers are listed separately so responsibility is visible.

Operating envelope

The applicable limits form a hierarchy.

The system envelope, Kit or chemistry limits, installed module configuration, project evidence and receiver criteria all apply. The narrowest valid limit governs.

Envelope layerGoverning ruleChecks before release

ReceiverRelease is receiver-specific and may require authorisation beyond Elemenos.Quality, monitoring, legal/site permission and off-spec diversion.

Safety, cleaning and lifecycle

The module includes more than the process duty.

Safe state, cleaning, maintainability and evidence gates are part of the technical definition, not afterthoughts.

01

Safety & release

  • Confirm pressure, chemicals, disinfection, biological, electrical and residual hazards for selected barriers.
  • Provide full residual ownership and quality HOLD / diversion capability.
  • Do not describe candidate product water as potable or released without the applicable evidence and authority.
02

Cleaning & changeover

  • Define backwash, CIP, disinfection and spent-media cycles by barrier and feed.
  • Verify residual capacity and cleaning completion before return to service.
03

Engineering & service

  • Complete water characterisation and receiver gap analysis.
  • Barrier selection, P0 cell allocation and residual mass balance.
  • Gate review, FAT/SAT and receiver-specific validation.
