RM · Solid-process module

Reaction Module

Provides the controlled reaction environment in which a released Chemistry Kit processes a qualified feed.

Module function

What it does—and what it does not do.

The functional boundary is explicit so a module is never treated as a universal process claim.

DOES

Defined module functions

  • Receives only qualified feed and released chemistry.
  • Maintains the project-defined reaction sequence and state.
  • Includes the reactor duty, reactor CIP boundary and raffinate transfer boundary.
  • Hands reacted material to an accepted downstream receiver.
DOES NOT

Explicit exclusions

  • A reactor model is not a universal throughput or recovery guarantee.
  • No chemistry runs outside its released Kit envelope.
  • Reference nozzle and vessel configurations are not procurement release data.

How the module works

The RM mechanism, step by step.

Each step names both the physical function and the evidence required before the next handover.

01Verify configuration

Configuration and authority record accepted.

02Charge / feed

Feed, route and permissives proven.

03React

Required measurements remain inside the released envelope.

04Verify endpoint

Endpoint or accountable hold decision recorded.

05Transfer / clean

Receiver and cleaning completion confirmed.

Stream schedule

Every inlet, product and residual has an owner.

A stream is not released merely because the equipment can move it. Its state, route and receiving boundary must be accepted.

Published datasheet

What is fixed, selectable and project-specific.

Unsupported values are never guessed. The table states either the current public definition or exactly how the value is established.

Interface schedule

What crosses the module boundary.

Process, utility, residual and control handovers are listed separately so responsibility is visible.

Operating envelope

The applicable limits form a hierarchy.

The system envelope, Kit or chemistry limits, installed module configuration, project evidence and receiver criteria all apply. The narrowest valid limit governs.

Envelope layerGoverning ruleChecks before release
SystemThe reactor remains inside the locked Adapt system design envelope.pH, temperature, viscosity, chloride, conductivity and selected qualification pack.
KitEvery chemistry has its own released operating envelope and recipe boundaries.Concentration, order, timing, materials, hazards and endpoint.
ModuleThe selected 20C / 20X / 40S / 40P configuration defines installed physical limits.Vessel, connections, mixing, heating/cooling and instrumentation.
ProjectRepresentative evidence defines the qualified duty.Feed variability, kinetics, scale-up and downstream acceptance.

Safety, cleaning and lifecycle

The module includes more than the process duty.

Safe state, cleaning, maintainability and evidence gates are part of the technical definition, not afterthoughts.

01

Safety & release

  • Confirm heat, gas, foam, pressure, corrosive chemistry and mixing hazards.
  • Use independent allocated protection and local interlocks; Olerib does not replace SIS/ESD.
  • Block chemistry or discharge when configuration, route or receiver evidence is incomplete.
02

Cleaning & changeover

  • Reactor CIP is inside the RM scope and is released per Kit / changeover basis.
  • Verify cleaning media, sequence, waste receiver and completion evidence.
03

Engineering & service

  • Treatability, kinetics and materials programme.
  • Scale-up, reactor selection and recipe engineering.
  • FAT/SAT and case-specific performance verification.
