IN-HOUSE REACTOR DEVELOPMENT

A reactor architecture designed to evolve.

RIRC—the Rectangular Integrated Reactor Concept—is Elemenos' in-house development programme for possible future Adapt configurations. It explores staged processing in a container-optimized architecture built around replaceable process cells.

SERVICEABILITY

Replace the cell. Preserve the platform.

Each process cell is conceived as a sealed, traceable unit that can be exchanged through a rapid, controlled service procedure. The process is stopped, isolated, drained and made safe before release—creating a practical route to maintenance, configuration changes and future upgrades without replacing the complete reactor system.

DEVELOPMENT DIRECTION

What the programme is exploring.

The public story stays at architecture level. Detailed geometry, interfaces, materials, control logic and operating limits remain inside the controlled engineering package.

01

Staged processing

Distinct process duties can be arranged as a governed reactor train inside one compact envelope.

02

Replaceable cells

A service model intended to shorten planned intervention and preserve the surrounding platform.

03

Scale by replication

A path to scale through repeatable units rather than one continuously enlarged vessel.

04

No internal agitator

The baseline cells contain no impeller or other moving mechanical mixing component.

THE BOUNDARY MATTERS

Development with defined claims.

RIRC advances through controlled engineering and validation gates. Public statements will expand only when evidence supports them.

  • Current Adapt deployments do not depend on RIRC.
  • No released performance, capacity or energy claim is made here.
  • Commercial availability will be stated only after verification.
  • Protected design details remain confidential.

FOUNDER-LED DEVELOPMENT

A proprietary reactor programme inside the Elemenos architecture.

RIRC is developed under the technical direction of Elemenos founder Anders Westby and is being evaluated as a possible future part of the Adapt platform.
